Hi I am a Registered Nurse, having graduated from Queen's University in 1982. I have been working with premature and full term newborns and their families for the last 33 years in a variety of roles. In 2009 I officially became an Internationally Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I sat for my upgrade exam in 2019 and am currently prepared to re-certify in 2023.

We are able to give advanced support to new families throughout their personal breastfeeding experiences. Working closely with your Family Practice Physician, we develop and continually update a feeding plan that works for you.

Along the way I have also certified as a Novell Network Engineer (yes for all the IT people "old school" networking)

As an Internationally Certified Infant Massage Instructor - Level 2, I am able to teach parents about how to massage their newborns also discussing the effect and importance of the "switches" that genetically turn on or off to their baby's advantage as per Dr. Bruce Lipton' research.

I look forward to working with you in your breastfeeding experience. Specializing in identifying and resolving "at breastfeeding" for jaundiced or sleepy babies, identification and referral for tongue or lip tie release, failure to thrive babies and low milk supply, irritable feeders, and potential for over stretched neck muscles in newborns, resulting in "flat head".
